The Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) is the scaffolding industry’s recognised training scheme. The scheme was first established in the UK in the 1960s and now has more than 50,000 CISRS card holders in the UK as well as more than 4,000 overseas card holders.

They have been instrumental in improving health and safety standards in the scaffolding and working at height sectors.

The brief

CISRS approached us after seeing work we had carried out for one of our retained clients, a scaffolding consultancy and training business who are an approved CISRS training provider.

The brief was to create a short film aimed at 14-18 year olds which would promote CISRS and careers in scaffolding. The video needed to be young, inspirational and positive. They wanted to create something that would be engaging and generate interest amongst young people and those considering apprenticeships.

In addition to appealing to their target audience they wanted the finished film to be CISRS branded and feature their corporate colours, orange and black.

What we did

Website

We filmed and edited a short promotional video which included branded graphics and interviews. Filming was carried out on location at the headquarters of one of their approved training providers.

We filmed practical, scaffolding training sessions as well as interviews with key individuals to ensure key messages were covered and the final film conveyed a large volume of information in a concise and engaging way.

The finalised video features on their homepage and on YouTube. It already has more than 2000 views on YouTube.
