Great Scott! This month (21st October, to be precise) marked the day that Marty McFly went Back to the Future. Twitter went crazy with fans celebrating the 80’s movie franchise, with hashtags #BTTF2015, #BTTFDay and #BackToTheFuture. There has been a lot of discussion about whether 2015 has lived upto the film’s prediction for 2015. Not surprisingly brands and organisations have jumped on the bandwagon and tried to find clever ways to exploit the occasion.
