A successful family business in Cheshire about to celebrate its 30th anniversary has launched a new website.
Established in 1980, this successful local family business is owned and run by Tom and Margaret Fell along with their two sons Jonathan and Graeme.
The launch of the new website coincides with a series of recent improvements which have taken place at The Ice Cream Farm in Tattenhall.
The current developments comprise a brand new indoor Ice Cave Room which is designed especially for all year round children’s parties. The room includes a ‘Willy Wonka’ style ice cream machine, which allows kids to get creative and personalise their own ice cream.
Other areas of expansion include; a newly renovated cafe, an outdoor play area, an animal corner, a milking parlour and a gift shop where you’ll find everything from the best local produce to amazing souvenirs.
With all this to shout about Jonathan Fell, the younger of the two Fell brothers decided that a new website was required. Through recommendation, he contacted Entyce Creative, a design and marketing agency based in Chester, to get the ball rolling.
Having visited the farm and sampled the delightful ice cream, the team at Entyce were very excited by the new design challenge.
“We work with lots of businesses throughout Cheshire and the North West, but it was an honour to be asked to design the website for the Ice Cream Farm as it is renowned for its delicious flavours of ice cream.” Comments Jane Entwistle, Creative Director of Entyce Creative.
The new website has just gone live and because there is so much interesting information for the whole family; exploring it is a family event in itself!
Illustration has been incorporated into the website to bring personality and highlight the fun element of the farm. A new map, created using the same illustrative style, is a great feature to pinpoint all the new attractions.
The News & Events section and the Image Gallery pages have been designed using a clever content managed system so the Cheshire Farm staff are able to upload new images and content themselves.
Jonathan says: “It is so easy to use and is perfect for keeping the website updated to ensure visitors keep returning to find out about the latest events taking place at the farm.”
The inclusion of a Retail & Trade section offers more information for those who wish to stock the sought after ice cream in their shops, restaurants or cafes.
Jonathan comments: “We didn’t really know what we required from the new website, we just wanted to try and capture the excitement from the farm. Throughout the process Entyce Creative has really guided us and the new website is fantastic! We have already received outstanding feedback from our customers and retailers.”
