The launch of the John Lewis advert marks the start of the Christmas season for marketers everywhere and the Entyce Creative team is no different.
This year we were eagerly awaiting the advert as we do every year. What would they do? Would it make us cry? What music would feature in the advert? Would it be animated this year? The advert was released and we weren’t disappointed. Who doesn’t love cute animals bouncing on a trampoline?
Naturally talk in the office turned to what would happen next. Who would attempt to copy or parody the advert. We loved Aldi’s take on last year’s John Lewis advert. It was clever, entertaining, engaging and had real marketing value generating lots of attention and interest for Aldi as well as for John Lewis.
Well this Christmas season the temptation was too much! We had a trampoline, we had a plan, we cleared our diaries for an evening. We just couldn’t help ourselves.
We hope you enjoy our Christmas video. We wanted to make you smile and at the same time raise some much needed funds for a worthwhile charity. As a digital agency in Chester we wanted to select a local charity that we know carries out valuable work. For every view the video receives we will donate 10p to Claire House Children’s Hospice.
Supporting Claire House Children’s Hospice
This amazing children’s hospice makes a huge difference to the lives of seriously and terminally ill children. Based in Bebington on the Wirral Claire House Hospice provides specialist nursing care and emotional support to the children and their families. They create wonderful experiences and help families going through the most difficult of time to find some normality and to create magical family memories.
Christmas is obviously a very important and busy time for them and the families they support so the charity was an obvious choice for our video fundraising.
Please feel free to share the link and help us to raise money for Claire House Children’s Hospice. Look out for all our Christmas antics on social media #EntyceChristmas.
