We’re pleased to announce that Entcye will be continuing our support for local charity Hope House in 2020. It is an amazing charity, the work they do has such a positive impact so we are looking forward to continuing to support them in different ways.
Hope House Children’s Hospices provide specialist nursing care and support to more than 750 children aged 0 to 25 years, and their families, who live in Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales. The charity has two hospices – Hope House in Oswestry and Tŷ Gobaith in Conwy as well as counselling centre in Shropshire and North Wales.
Last year we supported the charity in a range of ways from taking part in their fundraising challenges and baking cakes to offering our professional services to help Hope House raise more awareness of the charity.
This year the team at Entyce have already begun to get involved and have pledged to complete one event or challenge in aid of the charity each month.
Director, Jane Entwistle has already started off the activities by completing the Helsby Half Marathon in January and she will shortly be running in the Village Bakery Half Marathon as our February activity.
In March rather than take on a physical challenge we will be supporting the charity by offering our marketing services free of charge for one of their fundraising events.
Our talented videographer Tom will head to beautiful North Wales to film the Llangollen Canal Walk. Following the event, he’ll edit the footage to complete a professionally produced video which the charity can then use to promote future events and raise further awareness of the charity. If you’d like to star in the video all you need to do is sign up for the walk!
Taking part in fundraising events is a great way to get involved but we hope that by sharing our skills and expertise with them we can contribute to making an even bigger difference.
